"Youth and Sports" organizes a Nasser International Leadership Scholarship visit to the Youth Sports City in Asmarat

On Sunday evening, the Ministry of Youth and Sports organized a visit to the youth sports city of Asmarat, as part of the fourth edition of the late leader Gamal Abdel Nasser International Leadership Scholarship, organized by the Ministry under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi of the Republic in the presence of Hassan Ghazaly, General Coordinator of Nasser international Leadership Scholarship and number of Media professionals, journalists and youth leaders. The visit of the youth delegations participating in the Nasser International Leadership Scholarship to the Young Sports City in Asmarat included an induction lecture about the city and its facilities and all the activities, programmes and events organized within it.

A video was screened that included the most prominent services, activities and events held by the Youth Sports City in Asmarat. Dr. Ahmed Kamal, Executive Director of the Youth City of Asmarat, presented at the beginning of his speech Salute to the youth delegations participating in the fourth edition of the Nasser Leadership Scholarship indicating that the aim of the establishment of the Youth City in the Asmarat neighbourhood was to build an integrated personality for the individual providing a range of social, sporting and cultural services to the members of the city and to the outside community where it was established to serve the inhabitants of the Asmarat and surrounding areas and was developed and worked to improve the services provided to them.

"Kamal", reviewed the facilities of the youth sports city in Asmarat, which includes many places, including the pool complex, the social building and its components, various playgrounds, the children's play area, the lounges for members, shops and the banking area, the open theatre with a capacity of 400 individuals, as well as various activities and events within the youth city.

For his part, Ahmad Ibrahim, head of the Asmarat neighbourhood, welcomed at the beginning of his speech, Young people participating in the Nasser International Leadership Scholarship with its fourth edition, noting that the Asmarat neighbourhood, which is an integrated housing project built since 2014 and completed in 2018, is a model of safe cities created and developed in the framework of providing a dignified life for citizens, showing the difference between how it was and how it became the Asmarat neighbourhood. Sports services provided by the Ministry of Youth and Sports through the Youth City Health services in five medical centres and education in four basic education schools and social and cultural services, activities and factories within the Asmarat neighbourhood, and I conclude by stating that the construction of human beings proceeds along a line with both urban construction. An inspection tour was organized for the participants of the Nasser International Leadership Scholarship in its fourth edition, following their departure from the Young Sports City, in the Asmarat neighbourhood, accompanied by Ahmed Ibrahim, head of the Asmarat neighbourhood, to observe the services provided to the people of the area where they inspected the Palace of Asmarat Culture, the Medical Center and the Stadiums in the Asmarat.

For their part, the participants commended the efforts of the Egyptian State in the qualitative transition made to the people of unsafe areas, the provision of all the basic ingredients and needs and the youth and sports centres that are breathing to them. They thanked and appreciated the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Asmarat District and the Executive Directorate of the Youth Sports City for their warm welcoming and getting to know the city in close proximity. Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, stressed that the Nasser Scholarship for International Leadership was keen to raise the voice of the African continent globally, noting that the establishment of youth and sports centres in the developed regions; To serve as outreach centres that contribute to the creation of a new economic reality for the young people of the governorates in those most favoured areas by providing them with specialized training skills to qualify them for the self-employment market and by creating a real job opportunity for trained and qualified young people, which is an interest in the function that these centres will perform before paying attention to the establishment process itself. Hassan Ghazaly , General Coordinator of the Nasser Scholarship for International Leadership, noted that Nasser Scholarship for International Leadership is one of the operational mechanisms for implementing the recommendations of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi of the Republic.

It is noted that the fourth edition of Nasser Scholarship for International Leadership involves the participation of distinguished youth leaders from a number of countries like (Tanzania, Tunisia, South Africa, China, Azerbaijan, Brazil, Palestine, Palestine, Sierra Leone, Russia, Oman, Jordan, Chad, Pakistan, Cameroon, Lebanon, Armenia, Niger, Mexico and Algeria).
