VICTORIA MWANZIVA

Victoria Charles Mwanziva is a youth leader from the United Republic of Tanzania; a graduate of a Master’s degree in Public Administration at the Harbin Institute of Technology; in Harbin; China. Victoria has a background of a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Public Administration with a major in International Relations from the University of Dar-es-salaam.
  
Victoria Mwanziva is currently serving as the District Commissioner for Ludewa District in Njombe Region, United Republic of Tanzania. This is a Presidential Appointment to be head of Government Operations, Governance and Administrative Operations in the District of Ludewa. The President of Tanzania Her Excellency- Dr Samia Suluhu Hassan had appointed Victoria Mwanziva to be one of the District Commissioners in Tanzania.

District Commissioner work includes serving the community through a multitude of developmental activities such as the management of all Governmental affairs in Ludewa District, Head of Political and Security Affairs in the District, all administrative affairs (Education, Health, Water, Social Development), oversight and management of all state projects in the District side by side with the District leadership structure- liason with Government organizations, Non-Government Organizations and Private Sector.

This work defines her passion which is service to people, development of Tanzania- and ensuring that the potential of the community is advanced; in order to be at the frontline of the developmental agenda in Tanzania by making their voices heard, participation in politics, policy formulation and implementation in communities- at the top of this agenda is female participation in leadership and politics, bridging the gap to ensure that more young female leaders get their spaces in leadership and governance at large.
