Video| President of the National Youth Council of Nigeria Praises Nasser's International Youth Movement
The activist leader, Ambassador Igbe Sukubo, President of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, expressed his sincere congratulations to Nasser International Youth Movement on its fourth founding anniversary. This was in a video meeting on the sidelines of the first consultative conference for African youth, which was held in the Kingdom of Morocco, coinciding with the glorious July Revolution, in the presence of elite youth leaders on the level of the African continent. This was organized by the African Youth Union, and under the patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI bin Hassan, the King of Morocco.

At the outset of the conversation, Igbe Sukubo expressed his pride in the Nigerian youth leaders affiliated to Nasser International Youth Movement, and congratulated and saluted them. He completed his greetings to all the youth leaders of the Nasser Movement in all countries of the world. He also pointed out that the Nasser International Youth Movement is a pioneering platform that unites the continents (Asia, Africa, Europe, Australia, and Latin America) thus creating a global citizen, with local characteristics, capable of developing his country, moving forward towards improving the level of his sphere of influence, and contributing a pivotal role in investing the energies and skills of his peers and empowering them, stressing that this is what they aspire to. The continent has a future, in which its young people believe in the importance of their unity and solidarity in order to reach the Africa we want.
For his part, Hassan Ghazaly, founder of Nasser International Youth Movement, stressed that the movement is one of the mechanisms for activating the African Youth Charter, the legal framework for youth empowerment, in line with the African Union’s roadmap to invest in youth, in addition to its work to invest their energies to work towards achieving the ambitions of the Agenda. Africa 2063, and even mobilizing segments of the masses towards it. He also pointed out that the movement is working to define development agendas, regional and international agreements, and to mobilize segments of African society towards, to gain support, and then move forward towards implementing them more quickly and flexibly, among which (the African Free Trade Agreement), and the United Nations Partnership Strategy (South - South).
At the end of his speech, Ghazaly pointed out that the late Gamal Abdel Nasser sought to support the bonds of friendship between Egypt and Nigeria after independence in 1960, which resulted in the start of diplomatic representation and the opening of the Egyptian Cultural Center in Kano and the consolidation of relations between the two peoples, stressing Egypt's keenness on strengthening cooperation with Nigeria in the areas of common interest, which are represented in training and knowledge of digital skills, joint competitions and sports development, training and support for development projects and youth exchange programs between the two countries.
