Egyptian-African relations are intertwined at all levels, and in all fields such as; political, economic, security, cultural, scientific, and medical, which reflects the strategic organic partnership between Egypt and the countries of the continent, which contributes to maximizing common gains and interests and confronting various challenges.

Holding the African Medical Conference and Exhibition in Egypt embodies the great priority that Egypt attaches to the African continent, especially in the fields of medicine, health, and treating various diseases by maximizing various medical research to combat all types of diseases and epidemics that the African continent is witnessing, and developing drug treatments for them in a way that preserves the health of the African person

Establishing medical technology and localizing the pharmaceutical industry in Egypt, in addition to proactive measures to prevent the spread of diseases, constitutes an inspiring model for African countries, there is no doubt that providing clean water, providing healthy food, spreading awareness about healthy dietary patterns, promoting scientific research, supporting doctors, and developing hospitals represent an important African road map for improving the medical sector and overcoming various diseases and creating healthy generations capable of giving and actively participating in development and enjoying life, which represents an African strategic goal.

The African Medical Conference is undoubtedly an important step in helping to develop solutions to the continent's health problems and to achieve health integration among African countries.

The first edition of the conference, held under the theme "Your gateway to innovation and trade", was opened by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi last year, organized by U.P.A ( the Egyptian Authority for Unified Procurement, Medical Supply and the Management of Medical Technology; More than 350 scientific sessions and 20 workshops were held, with the participation of more than 800 international medical speakers and experts, more than 400 members of the Health Care Chamber and a number of international and local companies working in the various medical sector services.

The exhibition and conference activities, which were held over three days during the period from 5 to 7 June 2022 AD, at the Egypt International Exhibition Center (Al-Manara International Conference Center) in the Fifth Settlement in New Cairo, also included various sessions that reviewed the latest technologies in various medical fields, in addition to presenting and discussing a number of It is an important initiative in the medical field, enhancing the conference’s role as a sustainable platform that connects all healthcare partners in the world under one roof.

The initiatives intended to be discussed and presented varied, including the Egyptian initiative to eliminate cervical cancer, in the presence of a number of international experts and representatives of government agencies and institutions in Egypt, with the aim of protecting the women of Egypt and Africa from cervical cancer, in addition to an important discussion about the President of the Republic’s initiative to treat people with muscular dystrophy.

The conference and exhibition also offered an educational opportunity through scientific lectures, training sessions, and workshops on the most common topics in this sector. A technical committee of approximately 29 specialists in various sectors and medical institutions prepared and supervised these sessions and workshops.

The first African Medical Exhibition and Conference is a platform for dialogue among African countries to share experiences and coordinate with international companies to help develop solutions to African continent-wide health problems in line with Egypt's Vision 2030, the African Union agenda, and the United Nations goals that all aim to help develop solutions to African continent-wide health problems and provide a healthy life for citizens.

The African Medical Conference and Exhibition brings together all healthcare representatives to provide them with a unique opportunity to explore what is offered in various sectors such as medical supplies, medical equipment, pharmaceuticals, lab and chemical consumables, dental equipment and supplies, skin care preparations, nutrition and vitamins, health care providers, pharmacies, health care, nutrition and packaging industries.
